The Ting Tings - Hang It Up
Saying you'd rather sell fewer records than have your music fit alongside the likes of David Guetta on daytime radio playlist makes you pretty invincible for us in the first place. The Ting Tings dive into a bit more rough (Licensed to Ill - Beastie Boys like) sound with their latest single. We're curious what the rest of the new album (Sounds From Nowheresville) will sound like...
PS: The guitar riff sounds really familiar right? (Smells Like Teen Spirit)
Sleighbells - Comeback Kid
Is it us, or does it sound like Noisepop duo Sleighbells is on a more commercial/poppy tip for their latest single? After listening to the first verse we were expecting a crazy hard chorus, but no... But then there was the teaser for the new album, Reign Of Terror (see below) - YES!
M.I.A. - Bad Girls
All hail queen M.I.A. - she's back! Let's quickly forget about her being featured on Madonna's new single and focus on this little gem produced by Danja (Timbaland's protégé).
The Black Keys - Gold On The Ceiling
What can we say... this is about as "Black Keys" as it gets, right?
The Inspector Steve Styles - Honey Honey I Know (Jacked Ibiza edit)
This track is a undiscovered gem. Yes, it samples Marvin Gaye and yes it's a house track and yes, we know what your thinking, but this tune has an uncomplicated x-factor about it. Every club you hear/play it, people start smiling dancing and/or bumping their heads. A must have for every dance DJ and a must hear for every dance enthusiast. Hate it or love it, we do the latter.
